Plugins do not transmit Cyrillic
When sending Russian text through plug-ins, XML displays unreadable characters. As far as I understand it is due to the fact that the command vbs (wscript.echo) displays a window with the text in the encoding of "windows-1251", and XML is formed in the encoding utf-8. How can we overcome this situation? I'd like to introduce some plugins. Server version -2.3.1, client version -2.3.0.0

OCS Inventory agent in Android crashes.
Dear friends,
We are trying to install OCS Inventory Agent in a Samsung Galaxy J5 with Andoid 6.0.1
The app crashes and it closes avery time we try to do anything, and nothig happends.
Some one have the same trouble?

Cant get windows Agent to connect to Windows based ocs server
I cant get my windows client with OCS agent get ot connet to my windows based OCS server.
i tried different configurations of the angens, SSL on, SSL off, different user cridentials, empty ciridentials.
i Cant find the solution.

I did install "brew and perl modules", restarted the workstation, reinstalled OCS agent.
However I still have getting this message os the log files:

Error 400 means that your server has a lower version that your client. With agent 2.3.1 you must use ocs server 2.3.1 and only this version.

OCS client requires Administrator privileges?
Hello,
I'm trying to deploy a more recent version of the OCS client in Windows PC in our network (see also: http://ask.ocsinventory-ng.org/7647/ocs-inventory-migration-and-upgrade)
The client version is 2.1.1.1 (the last one supporting Windows XP). When a non-admin user logs on Windows, the OCS installer starts, but tries to install the service version despite I specified the /NO_SERVICE flag.
An error message is shown to the user, and this file (named OCS-NG-Windows-Agent-Setup.log) was created in %TEMP%:

The .REG file whom I am using was extracted from a modified client. And when I execute the .REG locally on the client (user with admin privileges), the changes proceed. The user privileges could be a problem? The OCS deployments don't run already with elevated rights?
I haven't yet tried on a updated agent. If you don't have any other suggestion, it will be my next step.

In fact, it is a system account that is used by the OCS agent (so with elevated rights), but you can check the UAC setting.
Have you tried to deploy your registry modification on a newly installed VM without GPO ?
Certainly, you can also execute a BAT file that would generate a LOG (flag) before and after the execution of the REG (in this place, add an output errorlevel) ?

Tous les pilotes de votre PC sont-ils bien installés (et "up to date"), notamment celui de la carte graphique ?
> Si vous avez paramétré la sortie vidéo avec la station d'accueil en remplacement de la dalle graphique de votre PC portable, ça peut être normal (différent avec l'extension / duplication d'affichage)...
Sur votre PC, si vous générez un inventaire en local avec et sans station d'accueil, qu'obtenez-vous comme différence ?
