Hi,
I find out that windows 8 and windows 10 key isn't correct.

I use aida64 and produkey to check the windows key and the number are the same, 

but OCS agent get differnet key number.

This really confused me. And I search this information from Google

so, is this a bug that not fixed yet ?

My Environmnet:

Server OS: CentOS Linux release 7.3.1611

Apache: 2.4.6

Mysql: 5.7.19

PHP: 5.4.16

OCS Server: 2.3.1

OCS Agent: 2.3.0

SNMP show wrong data

I installed latest version of linux agent. But this agent shows wrong snmp data for the printers. Any ideas whats wrong?

linux agent - ver.2.3

server - ver.2.3.1 (on debian)

error code 1060 the service does not exist (OCS Inventory NT Agent)

When i try to sincronize from the agent to the OCS server, windows 8/8.1 shows me this message "error code 1060 the service does not exist".

I've tried to reinstall the 2.3.0 version (because is the only one that ive achieved to make run in some computers), i've tried to uninstall, clean windows registry and reinstall, i've tried to install different OCS versions, but in some computers works but not in another ones, i've tried to able/disable OCS Service in services.msc (several times), i've tried to change the execution path of the registry because of the fact that some versions look for it in Program Files or Program Files (x86)... I dont know what to do!

But the weird thing  is in some PC's with the same architecture, OS, antivirus, sw WORKS...

The only way that ive found to achieved that works is installing in a new computer with a "clean registry"....

I cannot manage all my company computers through OCS inventory! Some ones sincronizes, some ones not.

Please, help me!

I am installing the agent for a MAC machine by https, but it fails to send the inventory of the machine to the server which already has ssl certificate.

The agent is version 2.1.1 and in the OCS SERVER URL I put https: // myserver / ocsinventory. It only works for me when I use the http protocol.

I had the same issue.

To resolve I did the following. Hope it helps somebody else ;)

1. Clear cache partition on your device *
2. Reboot the phone.
3. Clear data of the app. Go to Settings > Apps > OCS-NG Agent > Storage > Clear data
4. If still did not work, re-install the app then test.

To complete Step 1 (Clear cache partition) *

1. With the phone powered off, press and hold the Volume Down button and the Power button at the same time until the device turns on.
2. Press the Volume Down button until the flag next to the power button reads "Recovery mode"
3. Press the Power button to restart into Recovery mode.
   You'll see an image of an Android robot with the words "No Command"
4. Holding the Power button, tap Volume Up once and then release the Power button.
5. Use the volume buttons to scroll to "wipe cache partition" and press the Power button to select it.
6. Use volume down to scroll to YES and power to confirm.
7. At the bottom of the screen, you will see your device go through the process. Once it says "Cache Wipe Complete" the reboot system now option will appear at the top.
8. Press the power button to confirm the reboot.
 
Note: Clearing the cache may take up to 5-10 minutes depending on user memory.

Bonjour,

Je souhaite supprimer de mon inventaire quelques postes avec l'agent v2.0.1.0 dont  je n'ai plus accès.

Sur ces poste, il y a un script dans c:\ocs qui lance OCS et envoie l'inventaire selon une tache planifiée.

Je souhaite supprimer ce dossier c:\ocs sur ces postes pour régler le problème.

Est ce qu'il y a un moyen de faire cela ? Sachant que je n'ai pas activé le https sur le serveur.

All the clients have "OCS-NG_unified_unix_agent_v2.0" already installed and I want to change the server ip and ports configuration. I need your help because I don't know how to do that, I tried to search but didn't find...

Filename not reporting for Windows or OSX

Hey there,

We have recently rolled out OCS across the board and am seeing really good information now coming back.  One thing I am missing though is the filename field being populated.  I am getting Name, Version, Folder - but no filename for any software.

Has anyone encountered this in the past, is there something specific we should be doing to capture this?

C'est une idée pour le plugin "Runningprocess" mais qui nécessiterait de scruter le résultat en permanence.

De plus, ce plugin ne peut pas fonctionner dans l'état sous Windows et nécessite des corrections pour que ce soit le cas.

Je passerais plutôt par le prefetcher et je comparerais sa liste avec celle des programmes officiellement installés, la différence correspondant au résultat.

Hello,

I've installed a windows agent on my computer as a service. It seems to be running and reading the inventory, but the data don't appear on the server. Yet according to the log file the agent can contact the server. Can anybody help me, please?
