How can I report my network drives ?

Hi,

My server version is 2.3.1 and my agent 2.3.

How can I get my network drives in the ocsreport interface ? Something to activate ?

My network drives are deployed with a vbs script and the command WshNetwork.MapNetworkDrive.

Everything works fine, except this !

I'm trying to use OCS Inventory Deployment Tool and I'm getting an error during deployment on my test computer.

Bonjour à tous ,

Je sais que je ne suis pas sur le bon forum, mais le forum de GLPI est complétement mort .

J'aimerais activer les notifications par mail sur GLPI mais lorsque je fait envoyer un message test cela me dit  "erreur d'envoie de message test" or il y a deux semaines cela fonctionnais correctement . J'utilise le serveur de messagerie de gmail .

Mon serveur OCS&GLPI est sous ubuntu .

Auriez-vous une idée d'ou cela pourrais venir ?

Hello to all,

I know that I am not on the good forum, but the forum of GLPI completely died.

I would like to activate the notifications by e-mail on GLPI but when I made send a test message it tells me "Error of sends of test message" yet two weeks ago it worked correctly. I use the mail server of gmail.

My server OCS&GLPI is on ubuntu. 

Would you have an idea where from it could come?

the missing table (it's not missing) is not the issue.
I have updated the serer to 2.3.1 and the issue persists for some machines

Network Discovery on UNIX Agent with vlans

Hello,

I've an agent with two phisycal interfaces: em1 and em2.

Interface em2 is configured normally, but em1 is configured with vlan tagging, also:

  • ifcfg-em1 no IP
  • ifcfg-em1.100 IP on vlan100
  • ifcfg-em1.198 IP on vlan 198
  • ifcfg-em1.24 IP on vlan 24

The agent collects informations only for em2. Is there a way to collect the virtual interfaces as well?

Last Github agent on a ContOS7.3(1611)

Error download.exe in windows agent, we can't teledeploy

Hi,

We can't teledeploy programs in windows systems using OCS, 

The problem is in the windows agent after the client recieve the zip file. We have tried windows xp (agent 2.1.1.1), windows 7 (agent 2.3.0.0) and windows 10 (agent 2.3.0.0) and in all of the we find the same problem with Dowload.exe after the install software prompt window.

 

Do you know what's the problem?

Download log  don't show errors and finish with:

DOWNLOAD => Executing action <LAUNCH> for package <1495451116>

Hi ,

I installed a network script on the server and copy the vbs file into the plugins directory of my clients.

The problem is : WARNING *** EXECUTABLE PLUGIN => Plugin <C:\Program Files (x86)\OCS Inventory Agent\plugins\networkshare.vbs> does not produce any output

I read "The agent is not launched using the current user but the system user".

My question is, how can I launch my agent with current user ? Ocs is deploy by GPO

I have deployed a docker container OCS Inventory server version 2.2.1 (the one which is currently available in Github). I tried to add some Windows 2.3.0 agents but always get this issue:

Not sure if the problem is with 2.2.1 server or not. I tried with 2.1.1 windows agent and seems to work fine. The problem is that I need to add Windows 2012 / Windows 7 servers and 2.1.1 is for XP and 2003R2. The agent still works but not sure if full functionality will be avaiable.... my guess is no. Questions:

1) What are the functionalities I can loose using 2.1.1 agent on Windows 7 / 2012?

2) Is there any way to make 2.3.0 agent work with 2.2.1 server?

Salut, c'était la version 2.0.5

Il n'y a toutefois plus besoin de poursuivre les investigations car les serveurs ont (enfin) été retirés de la production.

OCS Linux And Windows agents can't communicate with the OCS Server

Environment:

OCS Server: Ubuntu 14, OCS - 2.3.1

OCS Agents: OCS 2.3 on Ubuntu 14, Windows 7, Windows 8, Windows 10

I don't see any servers or computers at the http://website/ocsreports/

I checked my  Agent log file and I got this:

 [error] Cannot establish communication : 404 Not Found

 mod_perl module correctly installed on the OCS server.

My Ubuntu agent config file is :

server=http://server.ip.address/ocsinventory
debug=1
basevardir=/var/lib/ocsinventory-agent

I restarted Apache web server few times, it wasn't help me.

What else can I do to fix this issue? 

Please help me ASAP.

Salut,

Peux-tu envoyer le fichier configuration de ton agent ?

Une requête http sur le port 3306 ? Essaye de désactiver ton pare-feu et/ou ouvrir le port 80/3306 sur ton serveur.

Normalement l'adresse est : http://ip_serveur_ocs/ocsinventory, pas besoin de préciser le port.

Bonjour,

il peut être important de préciser le port si celui-ci a été redirigé...

Les ports 80, 443 ou 3306 ne sont pas toujours disponibles, en particulier si le serveur OCS n'est pas dans le même LAN que le client.

Je pense aussi qu'il faudrait vérifier les accès du client jusqu'au serveur.

Please, I have recently installed the OCS 2.1.2 release.
On a windows server 2012 R2.
For the installation of the client, also in windows 7 and I am experiencing the following error: Service encounter error <Faile to load / parse last inventory state>

Detail: Firewall is disabled on both server and client
